When hosting an event one thing you will need to consider is how much security you will need, whether your event is a small event or large event security will be needed to ensure that your guests and staff are kept safe and the venue itself isn’t damaged.
The first thing you will need to consider is the type of event and how many guests are attending. The general rule of the thumb is for every 10 guests you will need one security operative but if you are throwing an event which is large and involves alcohol such as a festival you may want to consider more security than this.
Often events that involve alcohol or sports events are more prone to emotional outbursts from guests so it would be wise to maximise the amount of security on site. The safety of staff and guests should be a top priority when planning an event as without efficient security in place things could go south very quickly ruining your event.
